The School of Culture and Creativity at UIC now invites applications for the position of Assistant Instructor in the Department of Film, Television and New Media, which will be expected to be filled in August/September 2024.

Job Requirements 

Qualifications/Education:

· Preferably an MFA in Motion Picture Production or Creative Media Production; Or at least an MA in Film Studies/Media Studies.

Skills/Training/Experience:

· Strong portfolio and skills in video production, i.e. competent in workflow from pre-production to post-production.

· Ability to assisting teaching in courses related to film production, film theory, media studies.

· Proficient in English and be able to deal with paper works in English.

· Preferably two years experiences in film and animation industry or media industry.

Others:

·  Passion for student care and mentorship.

·  Collegiality, teamwork spirit and patience.
