Job Description
Candidates with teaching interest and key research strength in the following areas:
Essential:
Programming for Business Applications, Database Management and Applications, R Language for Statistics, Data Mining with Big Data, Artificial Intelligence and Deep Learning, Statistical Reasoning for Business Decisions, Data Visualization;
Highly Desired:
Text Mining in Business, Ethical Issues on Business Analytics, Operations Research, Optimization Methods, Calculus, Linear Algebra, Probability, Statistical Inference, Linear model, C language.
Job Requirement
Candidates should have a PhD degree in a related discipline, preferably in areas related to data programming, management, data processing methods, and/or artificial intelligence. Successful candidates are required to demonstrate an ability to undertake independent research leading to impactful outcomes, such as publication in high-quality, internationally recognized, indexed journals and other types of scholarly work as appropriate & recognized by their disciplines. Meanwhile, they are also expected to have a commitment to teaching excellence at undergraduate or postgraduate levels. Academic rank will be determined in accordance with the candidate’s experience and research accomplishments.
Benefits and Appointment Terms
Commencing salaries will be commensurate with qualifications and relevant experience. Fringe benefits include housing allowance, leave and social insurance. Appointments to these positions will initially be made on a fixed-term contract with mutual agreement.
