Job Description
1. To deal with issues and concerns of students by face to face consultation;
2. To provide personal counseling or group counseling service to students with stress or well-being enhancement;
3. Provide guidance & intervention particularly in mental health and psychological problems;
4. Other than that, emotional management, interpersonal relationship, grieving, love & sex, self-understanding, personal growth and study difficulties are scope of concerns to be managed, either by individual counselling or in group;
5. Handle emergency crisis of students and to monitor counselors during the process;
6. To provide training for staff and students;
7. Liaison among superior and different departments, participate in administrative meetings, perform tasks assigned by supervisor and SAO director;
8. To manage the team in delivering work sufficiently;
9. Cases supervision for counselors;
10. Organize work tasks, distribute to team members and monitor progress and outcomes;
11.Team leading experience preferred.
Job Requirement
1. Holding master degree or above of Counselling/Psychology program;
2. Have 6 years or above counselling practice and related field working experience, including cases counselling practice;
3. Proficiency in English and Mandarin (or Cantonese) speaking and writing;
4. Had professional training on psychological counseling;
5. Registered psychologists in the CCPRS (Clinical and Counselling Psychology Registration System) is preferable;
6. Warm and mature personality, with enthusiasm for personal growth of students;
7. Independent work and to initiate caring for students;
8. Could accept shift duty and work rotates on Saturday /Sunday/ Public holiday;
9. Must be admitted to the school dormitory,in order to cope with emergencies (at least 1-2 days per week).
