Job Description
Candidates with expertise in one or more of the following areas: geographic information system and remote sensing, ecosystem services and evaluation, analysis and modelling of spatio-temporal environmental data, hydrology and water science, climate change and carbon management, ecological restoration and planning, soil sciences, and environmental engineering are welcome.
Job Requirement
Candidates should have a PhD degree with working experience in a related discipline. Successful candidate is expected to be committed to excellence in undergraduate and/or postgraduate teaching with English. Strong English language skill including speaking and writing is mandatory. Preference will be given to candidate who can teach courses relating GIS/RS, fundamental Earth Science, Hydrology, Water Science/Wastewater Engineering, Terrestrial and Aquatic Environments in China, Climate Change, Carbon Management, Environmental Health, Ethics, and undertake independent research leading to outstanding outcomes, including publications in high quality international-refereed journals. Candidates with international experience such as learning, and working is an advantage. Academic rank will be determined in accordance with successful candidate’s experience and accomplishments.

Appointment Terms
Appointment to this position will initially be made on a fixed-term contract of two years. Continuation of appointment beyond the initial term will be subject to mutual agreement. The College reserves the right not to fill these positions, or to extend the search until suitable candidates are identified or to make an appointment by invitation.
