School of General Education--Assistant Instructor in Sport, Health and Communication
Job Description:
1. Assist in the delivery of postgraduate courses within the Master of Arts in Communication (Sports, Health and Communication Concentration), including sports analytics, biomechanics, research method, physiology or health promotion.
2. Support course instructors by preparing teaching materials, grading assignments and exams, facilitating classroom discussions, and conducting tutorial or lab sessions as needed.
3. Provide academic and administrative support to students, such as answering course-related questions, managing online learning platforms (e.g., ispace), and coordinating guest lectures or workshops.
4. Assist in the supervision of student projects, theses, or capstone research related to sports, health, and communication.
5. Perform other duties assigned by the program director or course coordinators, including participation in program events, open days, or promotional activities.
Job Requirement:
1. A Master’s degree in the following areas or a closely related field preferred:digital sports, sport engineering, sports science, digital health or media management.
2. Fluent in Chinese and English.
3. Strong background or demonstrated interest in digital sports, health. Prior teaching. tutoring or researching experience at the university level is an advantage.
4. Good organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a teaching team.
5. Candidates with good experience in application of AI tools are preferred.
6. Candidates with overseas education or experience in multicultural settings are preferred.
